Firefly Realty's Listing Marketing
A note from Sara Little, Marketing Director
We are very excited to hear about your home and we look forward to adding it to our listing portfolio! You will be in great hands with the Firefly team. I'm happy to take this time to introduce myself and give you an overview of some of our listing marketing process. As Firefly Realty's Marketing Director, I work with our listing agents and seller clients to market their homes with the goal of finding the right buyers.
It's no secret that photography can make or break a listing as part of the online marketing strategy. Our team has established relationships with several local real estate photographers who we trust and consistently provide excellent photos and other media services for our listing clients.
For homes in a certain price range and some properties with unique characteristics, we would use one of our high-end photographers for both exterior and interior images and would include drone photography as well. We also provide 360-degree virtual tours, and our photographers provide accurate measurements and a floor plan of your home. All of this would be completed on the same day (weather permitting) so that your property would only need to be “photo ready” one day. Click here to see examples of our virtual tours!
On top of all that, we would also have the option to create exterior drone footage and/or a two-three minute interior video tour. I would work with our Listing Manager Jessica Hunter and the photographer on coordinating these items within a schedule that works for you.
Once your listing is live on the MLS, it will get exposure on all the public real estate websites you are probably familiar with – Zillow, Realtor.com, etc. – and we also can market via direct email to more than 500 agents who work out of the Keller Williams Professionals Asheville office, and around 2,000 agents who are in our local area listing service.
We can also do paid advertisements through our Facebook page for some listings – one of our recent listing ads reached nearly 1,500 people in one week and resulted in 7 inquiries via direct message.
For some neighborhoods, prospecting via door knocking and/or a mailing to the neighbors can be very effective. Many folks are curious about other homes in their neighborhood, and they like being able to choose their neighbors, so often these activities will produce buyer leads. If this is something you are interested in, we would check our prospecting technology to see if the neighborhood is a good fit for either a mailing, or in-person door knocking, or both.

Some of our most valuable marketing comes from within our team. With 7 agents and a showing partner who work with buyers, we are often able to match our listing clients with one of our buyers. Once your home is in what we call our "coming soon pipeline," we can quickly determine if your home is a match for any of our buyers' needs.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions for me regarding our listing marketing strategies. I look forward to getting to know your home and helping you find the right buyer!
