And, October is in the books - That was fast!
We ended September on a high note, with a wonderful gathering of business partners at Sweeten Creek Brewing on a lovely evening. It is always so valuable to connect with those who also serve real estate clients. We are grateful for this community of folks and all that they offer! At the event, Katie announced a new group that she is forming in Asheville - the Millionaire Business Network's Asheville chapter - we're excited to share more details about this soon!
Shortly after, Katie and Sara packed their bags for a quick trip to Austin, TX, where Keller Williams is headquartered. There, they joined leaders from real estate teams and offices from across the country to sharpen and nurture their coaching and training skills, which means even more support and leverage for all members of the Firefly team.
The first week of October, the Firefly team packed our cars full of 300 pumpkins and delivered them to our local past clients! This was the third pop-by event we've done in the last year, and we're getting better and better at the planning and execution of this event, AND we just love connecting face-to-face with so many of our past clients. This event also gives us a chance reflect on how grateful we are to live in such a beautiful area - with deliveries up to an hour outside of downtown, several of us had delivery routes that led us through the mountains and other scenic routes over two gorgeous fall days.
We also welcomed a new team member in October! Erin White joined as the newest Firefly - Erin works with both buyers and sellers, and we are thrilled to have her on board! Click here to learn more about Erin.
On October 22, we welcomed nearly 200 past clients and friends to the Eliada Corn Maze for our 2nd annual friends and family event. We were graced with wonderful weather for this fun fall festival, and we couldn't be more appreciative to the staff and volunteers at Eliada for organizing such a memorable event every year.
As a final hurrah for October, our entire team spent the day with Katie's business coach Bill Middleton, to reflect on 2023 and make our plans - as individuals and a team - for 2024. This year's theme was Clarity, Courage, Camaraderie, and Commitment - and it's safe to say we all experienced some level of each of those things throughout the day!
