The holiday season is officially upon us - as is the chilly weather! We have so much to be thankful for this time of year. One of our favorite ways of showing that to our clients and friends is with free pie! We gave out around 120 pies on the Monday before Thanksgiving, and while it was cold and windy (which seems to be our standard pie giveaway weather), our hearts were warmed by each and every person we talked to that day. A big thanks to Beth Cramer at GRCC for providing two $100 gift cards to Mast General Store - Liz Duncan and Michael Jones were the lucky winners!
Team Values:
With our changing market and evolving team, Katie wants to ensure that we are still embodying the Team Values that she created when she started building Firefly. Prior to our 2024 Team Advance planning day, each team member nominated all other team members for a core value, and wrote a bit about how they see that team member exhibit the value. We shared them as a group, and we are thrilled to share some of them with you. We want all of our clients and friends to know that our standards are high when it comes to our team values. Giving Back:
We are super excited to attend the Keller Williams Fashion Victims Ball this Saturday - keep an eye out for some tacky and WEIRD costumes! We are thrilled to be a team sponsor of the event, which means we were able to choose a nonprofit organization to benefit from the proceeds of the event - and we chose Fostering Hopes, which focuses on engaging the local community in the ever-growing needs of foster care. Business Bits:
One of the questions we often hear this time of year is whether things "get slow" during the winter months. While there are some seasonal shifts in our market during this time of year, that does not mean that WE slow down! In fact, Firefly agents are busier than ever - we are already looking ahead to what our business will bring in the first few months of 2024, and that means we are making lots of phone calls and spending time with our clients to figure out who we can help, and when is the best time to help them.
Another thing we're hearing a lot of is, folks want to wait a few months before buying or selling - which makes sense for some people. And, if most people wait, then competition will be higher, and we know that can mean for pricing and inventory - if you want to take advantage of increased Days on Market and make moves while others are in winter hibernation mode, we've got your back!
