Where has the time gone?!?
July was a great month for the Firefly Team! On July 20, we held our big call-in giveaway for an E-Bike in partnership with The Flying Bike, as well as our awesome sponsors Brock Law Firm and Pisgah Home Inspections. We loved talking to so many new folks and familiar friends that day!
We also had our quarterly team meeting to discuss our upcoming goals for each individual as well as the business as a whole. We base our production calendar schedule so that the 4th quarter is actually the months of August - October; because homes that go under contract in November could likely close in 2024. This helps our agents and the team to be very intentional and clear about our goals, and gives us a head start for 2024. We got out of the office for the meeting and met in the home of one of our team members, joined by our Firefly mascot Gertie, and one of the many adorable Firefly kids, Rowan.
Last week, we were honored to be able to give back to two causes that mean a lot to us - On August 5, we joined Fostering Hopes to participate in the Back To School Party In The Park at Jackson Park in Hendersonville. We talked to some amazing folks and raffled off a gift basket full of locally sourced goodies for kids. And, we stayed for the movie - it was a lovely evening and even though they got to bed a bit late, the Firefly kiddos who were there had a blast.
We also contributed $250 in school supplies to Eblen Charities' Tools For Schools event. We were able to check off every item on their list, times four! We know the load can be hard for parents and teachers when it comes to ensuring all kids have equal access to the supplies they need, so we were thrilled to be able to contribute again this year.
As much as we love summer, we are excited for the transition to school starting and the promise of fall, and we hope to serve many more clients this year!
